New staff member

Hello everyone,

There is now a new staff member at Blue Dove!

You might have noticed me in the workshop lately, so I wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Jessica, and I am a jewelry artist from Sweden.

I came to Blue Dove to learn Japanese goldsmith techniques.

I visited Japan for the first time in 2010 and have been here many times since.
It feels like my second home.

What made me like Japan so much is mainly the people and culture, which is why I want to include a part of the Japanese culture in my jewelry making.

I am also helping out in the shop, so feel free to say hi!

I speak a little bit of Japanese, because I studied Japanese for 8 months during 2018-2019.
However, my Japanese is a little rusty now, since I did not get to use it during the pandemic.
But I will do my best. 頑張ります。
